New Format NAFLE Drama Competition

Beijing University's NAFLE National Student English Drama Festival took a new format this year, with 2500 schools and 1.5 million students being involved.
Australian writer Craig Hill had his first play, The Rehearsal, performed on stage and released on DVD in China. It was an entrant in the NAFLE Festival, and won first place in the Zhejiang heats. It now progresses to the National Finals at Beijing University, in February 2012. It is in the final 12.
The play is performed completely in English by Chinese students. English is a second language to all of them. It can be viewed at The Rehearsal - Alice In Wonderland. It tells the story of a group of students rehearsing to perform the play Alice In Wonderland.
